BACKGROUND: The use of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) as alternative helps to eliminate a number drawbacks related fuel-air ratio. high-priority problem is development means and methods reduction environment pollution, specifically targeted researches in the field fuel with minimal harmful emissions into environment, increase availability this technology by reducing costs adaptation injection system diesel engine.
 AIMS: main aim study justification parameters engine operating according gas-diesel cycle spark dose ignition.
 METHODS: studies were carried out at brake bench equipment MMZ D-243 engine. distributed supply an ignition was tested automatic change angle including exhaust gases intake manifold recycling system. Adaptation LPG allows operate both mode, while electronic regulation "diesel" mode occurs more accurately reduce consumption final combustion manifold. standard for widely used transferring gasoline engines applied. chosen domestically made control unit configured methodology controlling cylinders developed Federal Scientific Agroengineering Center VIM.
 RESULTS: showed that emission pollutants atmosphere decreased all operation modes complies Euro-5 standard. Due 2,5 times lower price compared fuel, cost using replacement "gas diesel" reduced 2530% agricultural crops. reduces products 1518%.
 CONCLUSIONS: These indicators confirm relevance scientific research effective way costs.
